COACHING MINDSET
Our reality and our perception of that reality are rarely in sync.
Self-regulation is one of the keystones to building resilience. Your thoughts are the foundations for your actions and food for your dreams. Watch what you say to yourself about everything. When you start to notice these darker thoughts, try to stop and change it up. You may find new ways to interpret things and find an ease in living your life.
Finding ways to reframe or look at your thoughts can change your game plan;
Thought “I’m no good at organising things”
Sentence starter 1; “That’s not true because xxx “ give your self-evidence of how your beliefs are not realistic
Sentence starter 2; “Another way to look at this is xxx” reframe your thoughts to a more positive outlook
Sentence starter 3; “If x happens then I’ll do Y” have a backup plan.
Really begin to observe how you are getting in your own way and change it up!! You have the ability just allow yourself the compassion.
